For those of you who aren't familiar with Cretin 66, we pity you.
If you live in the U.S., you may have caught them on tour, or maybe you have a copy of an old 7-inch (now collectors items), or, even better, maybe you've gone as far as to purchase one of their historical full-lengths. For European fans, you had a chance to see the boys on tour in early 2000--they hit Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, France and Spain. They triumphantly returned in October/November of 2001 to promote their second LP "Demolition Safari"---and to cause a few international incidents at fast food restaurants. That tour included deafening gigs in Germany, Switzerland, France and Spain. Besides, if you don't own a copy of "Burnin' Rubber Outta Hell's Garage" or "Demolition Safari" by now, you might wonder what the hell you're doing buying records in the first place.

Second things first-if you've never heard anything by this incredible band from-where else?-- the Almighty Midwest (the birthplace of all things authentic and cool), you can use this website as a means to to do so.

To get a taste of "Demolition Safari", here's a few words that help put your head in the right place:

"If the kids wanna know how to blow up a car, I think they outta know!" (Go Kids Go, "Demolition Safari") Them's fightin' words, straight outta Kansas City, Missouri and straight outta the mouth of Screamin' Mikey C, head man of the legendary Rock 'n' Roll band Cretin 66. If you wimps thought that "Burnin' Rubber Outta Hell's Garage" rocked your former Techno-hearin' ass, then you got another thing comin'. "Demolition Safari" is the rebirth of Ass-kickin' Rock 'n' Roll--where the spirit of Punk and the spirit of Hard Rock meet. For Cretin 66, there ain't no posin' or fancy Rock 'n' Roll clothes--they are the real thing. The industrial metropolis of Kansas City is indeed the a birthplace of sorts for a new genre of Rock 'n' Roll--"R&BPUNKROCK'N'ROLLFUCKEDUPMETALLICNOISE." Cretin 66 is living proof of this.
Not to fear--"Demolition Safari" is not too far removed from "Burnin' Rubber Outta Hell's Garage." These Midwestern boys justed turned it up a notch and sped up the beat. So, crack open a cheap beer, throw on a slab of ribs, and get ready for the Rock 'n' Roll testimonial of your life. . .Get ready to jump und Shang-a-Lang!

Burnin’ Rubber Outta Hell’s Garage is the name of this goddamn record (MCP-CD 012/MCP-LP 012). It’s available on CD or green glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Hailing from the only city where Led Zeppelin was booed off the stage. Where Ted Nugent took in the teeth with a pinball. The home of the Bomb Pop, automobile plants, Punk Rock, Heavy Metal and anything else worth a fuck. . .That’s right, we’re talkin’ about Kansas City! The hometown of Cretin 66. . . These boys grew up with the MC5, The Misfits, Johnny Thunders, Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Kiss, and they’re spreadin’ the word about Free Dope, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Fucking in the Streets! Kansas, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Rob Tyner!

Might be too harsh for many a local Garage rocker, but if they could handle it on a more harsher level, then they might survive and dig these rockin’ tunes.
