The Masons: "Youngblood"
MCP CD/LP 030
Nine Pound Hammer: "Kentucky
Breakdown"
MCP LP 029
The demolition continues. . .after an overwhelming response to several
sold-out reunion shows, the Kentucky-bred band Nine Pound Hammer has 'just'
released a NEW album of supercharged, gear-grinding, shotgun-wielding
rock'n'roll.
Middle Class Pig Sampler Vol. 2 "Vegans
Don't Play Rock 'n' Roll"
It's more than just Garage, Kraut Rock, Punk, Psychobilly or Power
Pop--we just refer to it as Rock 'n' Roll!!!
The Blondes "Summer
Strut"
MCP CD/LP 025
"Summer Strut" is a sequel. Can it top the first record? That's
not worth arguing about. That's like trying to determine if chocolate
is better than bubble gum, if blondes are better than brunettes. Both
records are solid, simple feel-good Rock 'n' Roll, and the parallels can
be draw to the likes of The Beach Boys, Cheap Trick, The Cars, The Who,
The Beatles, Big Star, The Sweet, The Modern Lovers and Urge Overkill.
There's something in the music for everybody, and it's impossible to pigeon-hole
The Blondes to one category.
The Blondes
MCP CD/LP 020
The sweetest Pop sensation to hit the scene since Cheap Trick and The
Cars. If you're into Big Star, The Beatles and Urge Overkill, you'll dig
this as well. This record is amazing! Available on CD and on 180 gram
12-inch black vinyl! (2002)
NEW: Cocknoose:
"White Trash Messiahs "
MCP CD/LP 025
The Re-Release of their 2000 Punk-Rock-Classic!
Cretin 66 "Demolition Safari"
MCP CD/LP 019
The second full-length from the best Rock 'n' Roll in the world (they
even said it themselves---on stage!). This release is faster ad harder
than "Burnin' Rubber"---17 songs in 26 minutes. Available on
CD and on a zebra-striped-swirlie 12-inch picture disc. The picture disc
is sold out at the moment! (2001)
Cretin 66 "Burnin' Rubber Outta Hell's
Garage"
MCP CD/LP 012
A true, honest-to-God Rock 'n' Roll band from Kansas City, Missouri, the
birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll, Heavy Metal, BBQ ribs, beer, Punk and all
that is dear to the sweet Lord's heart. These boys grew up listenin' to
Motörhead, AC/DC, The Ramones, The Dictators, Man-o-war, The Misfits,
and The MC5, just to name a few. So, now you know what awaits you! Available
on CD and a green glow-in-the dark 12-inch LP. (1999)
Essighaus
MCP 018
The second release from the southern Germany pioneers of the Kraut Rock
revival. But, they're more to it than that---Essighaus is the most creative
band in this stagnant dump we call the world. Noisy, strange and fun.
For fans of Suicide, Pere Ubu, Neu, Can, Amon Düül, Faust, and
what have you. Available only on vinyl---it's a double 7-inch with a cover
that opens up, and it's on thick 180 gram vinyl. (2001)
The Hefners "Repop!"
MCP CD/LP 016
The second full-length from them Hefners boys. A bit slower and groovier
than "Lay Off" with more Soul and R&B influences. Available
on CD and on 180 gram 12-inch black vinyl! (2002)
The Hefners "Lay Off, This Is the
Old Man's Private Poison"
MCP CD/LP 014
The first full-length from these perverted predators of 60's Garage Punk.
This album almost delves into '77 Punk and has been often compared to
the likes of The Fall and Wire. Available on CD and on a clear red 12-inch
LP. (1999)
NEW: The Illegal
Movers "BUZZPUNKPOWERPOPROCKACTIONDELUXE"
MCP LP/CD 028
They sound somewhat like The Dictators, Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers
and/or The Dead Boys. They're loud at times, they're fast at times, they're
melodic at times, and they´re from Newcastle, England
KGB "Ein Wochenende in Verona"
The continuing saga of Germany's best Punk Rock band! A four song CD-EP.
The Masons "Wichita"
MCP CD/LP 021
The third release from The Masons. Like the second record, this is a warm,
analog recording. Not as dirty, though, but just as tough. The classic-rock
phase of America's No. 1 Garage Rock band, if you will! Available on CD
and a clear-red 12-inch vinyl! (2002)
The Masons
MCP CD/LP 017
A raw and brutal second full-length from America's No. 1 Garage Rock band.
The recording is tough, analog and dirty. The band also refers to it as
"Southern Wife-Beater Rock". The Blues and Country influences
are much heavier (and muddier) this time around. This record'll leave
you with a shriveled-up ball-sack and a sore butt. In other words, it
rocks! Available on CD and on a Masonic black and white 12-inch picture
disc. The LP is sold out, but we might just do a repress if you beg us
to! (2000)
The Masons "Plymouth Rock"
MCP CD/LP 013
The first full-length from this legendary American Garage Rock band. The
singer Tom Frank claims The Oblivians inspired him to fire it all up.
Most of the record consists of fast songs with more of a Punk Rock touch
than later releases. A mixture of Blues, Rockabilly and, yeah, you said
it, straight-forward Rock 'n' Roll. Available on CD and on a clear orange
12-inch LP with a bonus 7-inch on clear, piss-yellow vinyl. (1999)
The Verdicts "Rock 'n' Roll Noisemakers"
MCP CD/LP 015
Latino-influenced Punkabilly Speed Rock with an upright bass from Los
Angeles, California. If it's too spicy for ya, then we will encourage
you to stick your fat, pimply face in the toilet! And, if you scratch
the car, they'll bust yer jaw! Available on CD and demonic red glow-in-the
dark vinyl. (1999)
ZORRO: "Ist
Race"
MCP EP 026
First release of the rock trio from basel, switzerland.
